Mancala
Sow your seeds and plan captures in the Kalah variant. Racing, action, puzzles and duels to enjoy on phones or computers.
Mancala is a family of games; this game uses one specific variant, Kalah (6,4): six pits per player, four seeds per pit, 48 seeds altogether. Both stores start empty. On your turn, take every seed from a nonempty pit on your side and sow one seed at a time counterclockwise. Include your own store and skip your opponent’s store, even on another lap. If the last seed lands in your store, take another turn unless the game has ended. If it lands in a pit on your side that was empty immediately before that seed arrived, and the opposite pit is nonempty, capture that last seed and all opposite seeds into your store. An empty opposite pit means no capture. As soon as either player’s six pits are empty, the game ends: each player sweeps any seeds remaining on their side into their own store. The larger store wins; 24 each is a draw. Any legal opening move is allowed and there is no pie-rule side exchange. Each side’s pits are numbered 1 to 6. Play against the computer or share this device with another player. The four lessons are optional. Arrow keys move focus in their physical screen direction; Enter or Space sows and Escape pauses. Rematches alternate the starting player. Your game and completed lessons are saved.
